How to Waterproof Reservoirs and Water Treatment Works

Requirements for Waterproofing Water-Retaining Structures

  • Safe for use in contact with drinking water (UK Government Approved)

  • High resistance to leaching

  • Protection from infection

  • Resistant to attack from condensate

  • Smooth, easily cleaned surface

Drybase Tanking Slurry meets the above criteria and is BBA-approved for waterproofing drinking water facilities worldwide.

The Drybase range has applications in refurbishing existing reservoirs / water tanks as well as waterproofing new-build constructions. In refurbishment applications, Drybase Universal Mortar can be used to provide a sound substrate. A waterproof coating such as Drybase Tanking Slurry is then applied.

Drybase products are also available for protecting other water-retaining structures such as swimming pools and sewers / sewage treatment structures.
