The first step to solving any moisture problem in materials is to correctly identify the location and extent of the issue. The Dryzone Moisture Meter gives a reliable and accurate picture of the extent of the damp issues in wood and masonry that a visual inspection cannot match.
This professional standard instrument comes pre-calibrated from the factory for accuracy and ease of use. It has both a ‘Wood’ mode and ‘Building’ mode for identifying the moisture content of a wide variety of materials.
Every Dryzone Moisture Meter comes pre-calibrated from the factory.
When set to ‘Wood’ mode, it will give a percentage measurement of moisture content in wood, to within plus or minus 2 % accuracy.
When set to ‘Building’ mode, the meter can be used to compare relative values in order to build a moisture profile of a surface. The meter will also give an accurate measurement of the ambient temperature in all modes, to within plus or minus 2 °C.
The Dryzone Moisture Meter can accurately measure the moisture content of a large variety of different wood species.
Simply refer to the included guide and select the correct wood preset for the species of wood you wish to measure.

Easy to use
I bought this product to mainly test wood, as I am a woodturner. I love the fact that it can be set to measure different species of wood. A great little product for the price.
I purchased this product to help detect the location of a potential central heating leak in the concrete floor of my property. It appears the water pressure loss was not caused by a leak and therefore have not actually used this product. It was purchased due to other favourable reviews. The quality and value of the device in itself appears excellent and I will have other uses for it.
