I have a house with roughcast external walls painted several years ago with Sandtex ultra-smooth masonry paint. One area has some hairline cracks in the render and there is water ingress. Is Stormdry MAX Enhanced Waterproofing Barrier suitable for use on this type of painted surface?

Yes, it can. Wait at least 24 hours after the application of Raincheck LS before applying Stormdry MAX.
Stormdry MAX Enhanced Waterproofing Barrier can be overcoated with solvent-based paints.
There is no need to apply more than one coat of Stormdry MAX.
Stormdry Max Enhanced Waterproofing Barrier has a semi-gloss appearance which fades over time. How long does this fading take?
Typically, it can take 6 to 2 months for the semi-gloss finish to fades. This is dependent on how thickly the Stormdry Max has been applied in the first place. The thicker that it has been applied, the glossier the finish will be.
When initially applying Stormdry Max we recommend applying a thin even coat to avoid runs or drips in the final finish.
