The Dryzone Telescopic Passive Wall Vent is designed to improve air quality in habitable rooms and help to manage condensation and mould. Fit on an external wall near the ceiling above head height. No wiring required. The telescopic duct fits walls up to 500 mm, so one model covers most properties. It's easy to set your chosen airflow with the internal adjustable iris shutter and slider. With no mechanical parts, operation is silent and maintenance is simple; just periodically clean the vent and filter.

Note: The equivalent area (as defined in the Building Regulations 2010: Approved Document F: 2021: Volume 1 - Dwellings) is a measure of the aerodynamic performance of a ventilator.
It is the area of a sharp-edged circular orifice through which air would pass at the same volume flow rate, under an identical applied pressure difference, as through the opening under consideration.
The equivalent area of a background ventilator is determined at 1Pa pressure difference in accordance with the Table 1.7 in Minimum equivalent area of background ventilators for natural ventilation in Approved Document F: 2021: Volume 1 - Dwellings.
The free area of a ventilator is defined as the geometric open area. For example, the Dryzone Telescopic Passive Wall Vent has a 100 mm free area.

The Dryzone® Telescopic Passive Wall Vent can be installed into a previous hole, the hole needs to be 100mm diameter. The external cover should be applied - as the vent relies on natural air movement, without a cover on the outside, rain water etc can enter through the exposed pipe.
