SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment
Solvent-free
High strength
Effective against all stages of the woodworm lifecycle
SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment is a liquid-applied, powerful and long-lasting remedy to the problem of woodworm infestation. The solvent-free formula is simply mixed with water and spray or brush applied to wood.
Once cured, the high-strength formulation of SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment effectively targets all the life-cycle stages of woodworm. This makes SoluGuard ideal for both the prevention of future infestations and the eradication of existing ones.
SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment contains 0.2% permethrin, which is double the strength of competing treatments.
SoluGuard Woodworm Treatment is a solvent-free formulation. Once cured, there is no lingering solvent smell in treated properties.
5 Litres treats around 15 – 20 m2 of timber
The dual-purpose SoluGuard Woodworm & Rot Treatment should also be considered where timbers have been damp or suffered from fungal attack.

Hi
Does this cause discolouration of stained wood? I’d be using it on an oak table and chairs and that would be an issue
Thanks
Hi there,
You might see some initial darkening, but this usually lightens as it dries.
We always recommend doing a small test patch first in an inconspicuous spot to ensure you're happy with the final look, as all timbers can react differently.
I recently purchased a 5-litre container of SoluGuard to use on my wood floors to treat a woodworm problem. I have two cats and have just read that Permethrin is highly toxic to them. Is this product safe to use in a home with cats? Thank you.
Hi Holly,
Thanks for your question. Unprotected animals should be kept well away from SoluGuard-treated surfaces until fully dry.
