Customer Questions

Dawn Latham

Hi There, can I paint over this with masonry paint?

Jack Harding at Safeguard

Good Morning Dawn

Thank you so much for your enquiry.

In answer to your question, yes you can paint over Raincheck ECO Water Seal with a Masonry Paint, however this must be done 3-10 days after the application of the water seal. After this time the water repellent effect of Raincheck Eco would prevent the paint from adhering correctly.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us directly.

Yours sincerely

Jack

Steve

Can this be used on an interior old wall which has been left exposed in a bathroom as a feature!?

Sofia Janzen at safeguard Europe.com

Good afternoon Steve

Thank you for your enquiry.

Raincheck Eco Waterseal is a product designed to be exclusively used on external walls.

The product has not been tested for internal application and we would therefore advise against it.

Please contact us directly if you are looking to get further advice.

Kind regards
Sofia

Clive Marshall,,

How often should you reapply the water seal on sandstone?

Mollie Brown at Safeguard

Good afternoon Clive,

Thank you for your enquiry.

As this product is a surface coating only, it would typically need to be reapplied every 1-2 years.

We would advise you to keep an eye on the surface beading and use this as an indication of when the product would need to be reapplied.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards,

Mollie
