  • Nine Drygrip Adhesive 600m

Everything you need to install 5 standard (1.2/2.4m) plasterboards.

Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream is a silicone-based cream for drilled hole injection along a mortar bed, where it spreads and cures to form a damp-proof course. Suitable for various wall types including brick and stone, its high-strength formulation ensures effective treatment even in porous and low-alkalinity mortars. Dryzone DPC Cream is the reliable and easy-to-install defence against rising damp.

Dryshield Cream enhances the damp-proofing process by providing a breathable, salt-resistant and water-repellent primer for your walls. When applied to surfaces contaminated with groundwater salts due to rising damp, it penetrates deeply and forms a durable bond on brick, stone and mortar substrates. Dryshield Cream weakens the crystallisation strength of salts to let walls dry out while protecting plasterboard and other finishes from salt damage. Its quick, one-coat application by brush, roller or spray makes it a convenient and efficient solution for waterproofing plasterboard walls.

Drygrip Adhesive is a salt and damp resistant glue, to be applied after Dryshield Cream as part of the Dryzone Replastering System. Its low-odour and solvent-free formulation accommodates natural wall movements while ensuring a lasting bond. Ideal for use on damp or salt-contaminated surfaces, Drygrip Adhesive secures plasterboard to treated walls, preventing moisture and salt ingress. Quick to cure and easy to apply, this adhesive ensures excellent resistance to moisture and the effects of salt on masonry.

The Dryzone 600 High Viscosity Applicator Gun is designed for precise and efficient application of Dryzone Damp-Proofing Cream. Constructed from tough aluminium, it is both durable and easy to operate. Its ergonomic design ensures comfortable handling, making it the correct applicator gun for injecting DPC cream into walls. This high-quality tool guarantees reliable performance and is essential for achieving optimal results in rising damp treatment.

Does the plasterboard have to be moisture resistant or just standard when using your Dry Zone Express system?

Safeguard Europe

Hi John,

Thanks for your question. The choice to use moisture-resistant or standard plasterboard depends on environment, but please keep in mind we do not recommend the use of foil-backed plaster due to the potential for interstitial condensation.

Please get in touch at 01403 210204 to discuss your project in more detail.
