The Oldroyd Xv range of polypropylene cavity drainage membranes for damp walls, ceilings or floors. The clear is semi-transparent, making it easy to locate suitable fixing points. Both options feature an embossed x pattern for increased tensile strength and 7 mm studs.
Oldroyd Xv Clear is a semi-transparent, studded cavity drainage membrane manufactured from polypropylene. It is specifically designed for application to damp/contaminated internal floors and walls, and is particularly useful in basement waterproofing/conversion applications.
Apply Oldroyd Xv Clear to walls and ceilings with special sealed fixing plugs (Oldroyd Brick Plugs). While on floors, there is no need for any form of fixing. The semi-transparent nature of Oldroyd Xv Clear makes it easy to locate suitable fixing points (e.g. avoiding soft mortar beds).
On walls, Oldroyd Xv Clear can be covered with plasterboard using timber battens. On floors, a screed or a floating timber floor can be applied on top of Oldroyd Xv Clear. When used as a basement waterproofing system, Oldroyd Xv Clear should be used in conjunction with the Drybase Aquachannel perimeter drainage system and the Safeguard Sentry Sump System.
Oldroyd Xv Black is a polypropylene cavity drainage membrane embossed with a pattern of 6 mm-deep studs. It is designed to be used as a waterproof barrier / drainage layer in structural waterproofing applications.

Oldroyd Xv Black is available from stock in 2 × 20 m (40 m2) rolls. A selection of other roll sizes are available to order.
Oldroyd Xv Black contains a minimum of 56% recycled content as defined in section 7.8.1.1 of ISO 14021.
Where quality and availability of recycled plastic allows, up to 70% recycled plastic may be used.
By utilising Oldroyd’s multi-layer technology this is achieved without any loss of product performance.
