This promotion has two parts:
a. a free Safeguard bucket hat for eligible existing customers, subject to availability; and
b. a separate prize draw to win one £300 voucher to spend at safeguardeurope.com.
Claiming a hat does not automatically enter you into the prize draw.
The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
To claim a hat, you must have placed an order directly with Safeguard Europe online at safeguardeurope.com or by telephone. To qualify, the order must have been placed after 28 July 2024.
Orders placed through Amazon, merchants, distributors, marketplaces or other third parties do not qualify.
Where the qualifying order was placed through a business account, an employee authorised by that business may claim on its behalf. Only one hat and one prize draw entry are permitted per customer account.
Safeguard employees and their immediate families cannot take part in this promotion.
To claim, eligible customers must complete the form at https://safeguardeurope.com/news/the-big-bucket-hat-giveaway by 23:59 BST on Monday 31 August 2026.
There are 100 hats available. Hats will be allocated in the order that valid claims are received and the offer will end when all available hats have been claimed or at the stated claim deadline, whichever comes first.
Each eligible customer account may claim one hat. Standard UK delivery is included. The hat cannot be exchanged for cash or another product.
Safeguard will reject duplicate claims or claims that it cannot match to a qualifying order.
The prize draw closes at 23:59 BST on Monday 31 August 2026. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
To enter, you must:
a. make a valid claim for a free bucket hat;
b. follow @safeguardeuropeltd on Instagram;
c. publish an original photograph or Reel showing you wearing the Safeguard bucket hat;
d. tag @safeguardeuropeltd in the caption.
Your entry must remain publicly visible and your Instagram account must remain public until the winner has been confirmed.
Only one entry is permitted per person, customer account and Instagram account, regardless of how many photographs are posted.
You must own the photograph or have permission from its copyright owner to submit it. If anyone else is identifiable, you must have their permission.
Entries must not contain unlawful, offensive or unsafe material or show unsafe working practices. Safeguard may disqualify an entry that does not meet these requirements.
You retain ownership of your photograph. Safeguard may record the post and Instagram username for the purpose of administering the prize draw. Safeguard will obtain separate permission before using the photograph in other marketing.
One winner will be selected at random from all valid entries using a verifiably random computer process. The draw will take place within five working days of the closing date.
Safeguard may contact the winner by Instagram direct message from @safeguardeuropeltd and using the contact details supplied when claiming the hat.
The winner must respond within 14 days. Safeguard will make reasonable attempts to contact the winner. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Safeguard may select another winner at random.
The prize is one digital voucher code worth £300 to spend at safeguardeurope.com.
The code will be issued within 30 days of the winner confirming their eligibility.
In compliance with the CAP Code, Safeguard will make information confirming that the prize was awarded available on request. The winner may object to this information being disclosed or ask for it to be reduced. Safeguard must still provide the information to the ASA if challenged.
Safeguard will process personal information as necessary to verify eligibility, deliver the hats, administer the prize draw and award the prize, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Safeguard may disqualify claims or entries where it has reasonable evidence of fraud or a breach of these terms.
