Water Resistance up to 7 bar Pressure
For Cracks and Areas at Risk of Cracking
For Concrete or Masonry Substrates
There are many possible reasons for masonry and concrete to crack. Foundation movement, thermal movement and elastic deformation, not to mention faults in construction and material imperfections can all lead to cracks in concrete and masonry structures. Bridge small cracks before they become a problem, and fully tank underground and water-retaining structures with Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry and Drybase EL2 Tanking Slurry.
Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry is a 2-part mix combining the BBA-approved Drybase Tanking Slurry with a liquid polymer additive known as Drybase Elasticiser. This additive gives Drybase Tanking Slurry extremely elastic properties, allowing it to bridge cracks up to 0.8mm width. Simply mix a 10kg pack of Elasticiser into a standard 25KG bag of Drybase Tanking Slurry to create Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry.
For smaller scale jobs, Drybase EL2 Tanking Slurry is a great value option. With crack bridging up to 0.4mm as well as excellent adhesion properties on masonry and concrete substrates, EL2 is perfect for basement water-proofing. Mix one 9kg bag of EL2 with one 25kg bag of Drybase Tanking Slurry to create EL2 Tanking Slurry.
Drybase Tanking Slurry is an incredibly strong and effective waterproofer alone, with excellent adhesion as well as temperature and abrasion resistance. The cement & graded quartz sand aggregate composition is incredibly hard & long-lasting, capable of standing up to the tough demands of tanking environments. When combined with the liquid polymers that make up Drybase Elasticiser, Drybase Tanking Slurry gains even more flexibility and strength without compromise. These polymers increase the flexural and tensile strength of Drybase Tanking Slurry, transforming it into a powerful elasticised tanking material that works as an active barrier against harmful CO₂.
Suitable for foundations, slabs and retaining walls, Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry adheres incredibly well to masonry and concrete substrates. Suitable for horizontal and vertical surfaces to enable a full tanking treatment. For tank cellars, lift pits, water reservoirs and anywhere 360° coverage against water ingress is required.
Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry also provides enhanced crack-bridging properties over standard Drybase Tanking Slurry. Prevent cracking, deformation and shrinkage in worry spots and bridge cracks up to 0.80mm to inhibit water ingress. Drybase Tanking Slurry also provides excellent adhesion for bonding construction joint tape during the tanking process.
Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry is a powerful tanking treatment that can withstand up to 7 bar active and passive water pressure. Perfect for foundations, slabs and retaining walls. Its waterproof and highly elastic coating is resistant to extreme weather conditions like frost and heat.
Drybase Elasticised and EL2 Tanking Slurry are both breathable, allowing moisture vapour transmission.
Drybase EL2 is a liquid polymer additive for Drybase Tanking Slurry intended for smaller waterproofing projects. Drybase EL2 Tanking Slurry provides up to 7 bar water pressure protection, perfect for all sorts of waterproofing projects. With the same excellent adhesion properties on masonry and concrete substrates as Drybase Elasticiser, EL2 provides a great value option for smaller scale jobs like fish ponds. Drybase EL2 has a crack bridging capacity of up to 0.4 mm. Mix one 9 kg bag of EL2 with one 25 kg bag of Drybase Tanking Slurry to create EL2 Tanking Slurry.
Drybase Elasticised Tanking Slurry is compatible with the Drybase Waterproofing & Tanking range.
